Rebecca and Chris were married at the spectacular Temple Church in London with their reception at MC Motors. Temple Church is probably one of the most beautiful churches in London and full of history. It was built in the 12th century and has links back to the Knights Templar. Therefore, the interior is impressive and the layout unusual too. I am pleased with the photo of Rebecca and the bridal party entering the church as the large front door creaks open. I like the light in that shot.
The getting ready prep was fun to shoot. The girls got together at One Aldwich on The Strand. Nadine from Portraits Bridal did a great job with everyone’s makeup and hair.
After the wedding, everyone got on red London buses and drove up to MC Motors. MC Motors in east London. It is the funky and fashionable and, most of all, a really special and unusual place to hold a wedding. MC Motors is actually a large warehouse space. It is often used for photo shoots and as a filming location too. It is an eclectic mix of styles and the props dotted around the venue and hung on the walls make for a funky backdrop to the wedding. There is even a section of an original Victorian street running through the middle of the venue! A big thank you to Charley from London Bride for doing such a great job planning the wedding.
Rebecca and Chris invited a real party crowd and the evening was finish off with an awesome DJ set.
