Last month we were the Plaisterers Hall wedding photographers for Ross and Aimee. I will be returning to Plaisterers Hall in a week to photograph Judith and David’s wedding. As a result, I will certainly know the venue and it’s surroundings well after these two Jewish weddings take place!
Plaisterers’ Hall is the largest of all the Livery Halls in London. As such, it is perfect to host large weddings. Ross and Aimee’s wedding was held in the Great Hall which can seat over 370 people for a wedding. Because of the way I use flash, the golden corniche ceilings came out really well in the photographs. Also, there are two imposing, gold chandeliers which add to the atmosphere when the lights are low in the evening.
I have been photographing weddings for well over a decade now, and I can see the fruits of my labours in the images I shot from Aimee and Ross. Like many of my clients, Aimee and Ross wanted images that actually tell the story of what happened on their day. They wanted timeless images that show the love, emotion, fun and excitement that unfolded on the day. I have often said that I enjoy the inclusive nature of Jewish weddings. Aimee and Ross’ wedding was no exception to the rule. I think that comes across in the images too.
